Find Guidance by Control Technology

Many faults live in the control layer — not in broken hardware. Choose the technology behind your equipment to reach remote diagnostic help: parameter tuning, log reading and communication checks. We guide remotely; we do not perform physical hardware repair.

PLC

Programmable logic controllers — Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and peers. Most "dead PLC" cases are configuration, addressing or program faults: diagnostic buffers, scan behavior and I/O mapping tell the story remotely.

HMI

Operator panels and touchscreens, from Siemens Comfort Panels to controller handhelds. Freezing, boot loops and touch dead-zones usually trace to project files, firmware versions or panel-to-controller links — all reviewable without opening the cabinet.

VFD

Variable frequency drives — Schneider ATV320, ABB ACS580, WEG CFV800. Trips, no-start and erratic speed come down to acceleration ramps, current limits and motor-parameter identification; parameter-level remote review covers most of it.

Servo

Servo drives and motors like the Yaskawa Sigma-7. Overcurrent alarms, positioning drift and gain instability need alarm-history interpretation and tuning — we read the codes and guide the adjustment sequence step by step.

Modbus

Modbus RTU and TCP, the most common fieldbus in small and mid installations. Silence, CRC errors and slave dropouts point to baud mismatches, address conflicts and gateway routing — all resolvable by guided checks from both ends.

CNC Control

Haas VF-2, FANUC Robodrill and similar machine tools. Axis-servo alarms like Haas Alarm 123, spindle overload and control-side communication loss are parameter and load issues far more often than mechanical failure — guided remote review of alarms, loads and settings.

Industrial Inkjet & RIP

Epson SureColor, Canon imagePROGRAF and Zebra label printers. Printhead errors, ink-system faults and RIP communication failures split between the print engine and the print server — we diagnose both sides of that link.

PROFINET & Industrial Ethernet

PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT links between controllers and devices. Device-name conflicts, IP collisions and timeout settings produce intermittent faults that look like hardware — remote trace and configuration review separates them.

Why the Control Layer Fails First

In modern equipment the control layer does the hardest work — and it is the layer most exposed to drift. Parameters get copied between machines, firmware versions diverge, fieldbus settings survive a partial network change. The result is a fault that looks mechanical but is not:

If your fault matches this pattern, browse by symptom instead — or see all troubleshooting topics for the full picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

My drive shows no fault code but the motor will not start. Where do we begin?

With the enable chain and the speed reference, then the motor-parameter set. A silent drive usually means the start command never reached it in a form it accepts — that is wiring and parameter territory, and it is systematically checkable remotely.

Can you help if I do not have the vendor software?

Often yes. Many checks run from the panel itself: alarm histories, diagnostic buffers, basic parameter screens. When software is required, we tell you exactly which package and version, and what to capture once it is connected.

Is firmware-related help realistic remotely?

For recovery sequences, version checks and configuration after an update — yes, routinely. We do not flash hardware on your behalf; we guide you through each step with verification points, so a failed update becomes a documented recovery instead of a guess.

What should I prepare for a technology-specific case?

The exact model and firmware version if visible, the symptom in one sentence, and whatever history the device keeps. For fieldbus issues add the topology: what connects to what, and through which switches or gateways.

Need help with a specific controller?

Send the model and the exact alarm or behavior — we'll connect you with a specialist for remote diagnostic and guidance.

What We Do NOT Provide

We do not perform physical hardware repair, we do not replace parts or components, and we do not guarantee that every fault can be resolved. Our service is remote diagnostic and operational guidance only.
